| I apologize for the last "Overdrives" thread up in the Roleplaying section. (Please delete that. ^_^;; ))
ANYWAY! Seeing as the Overdrive system's soon to be implemented, Jecht said that we can detail our OWN Overdrive.
So, here's mine.
Renegade's "Overdrive" Overdrive: Temporarily enhanced body which allows for devastating blows, rapid-fire slashes/pounding/punches... with a Lightning aura around my character. (Ren) Also enables quicker foot-movement. (Haste) Duration: DM's choice. Can be 5 seconds, 10 seconds... hell, even a whole minute. |

| Lorin, I suggest your overdrive should last at least 2 rounds. In one round, you can roll crap (Unless you're a pure BAB build) and unfortunately wont hit the enemy. Here's the time structure of the NWN system: | Code: | 1 round = six seconds
1 turn = 1 minute (10 rounds)
1 game hour = 2 minutes (2 turns or 20 rounds) - by default only, module creators may change it
1 game day = 24 game hours / 48 minutes (48 turns or 480 rounds) |
That's gotta be alot of scripting for custommized Overdrives!
Crxys Key's Overdrive: BUFF VISUALS On PC sequentially: Holy Sword, Power Word (Stun), Blackstaff, Combust, Call Lightning, Circle of Doom, Contagion, Aid, and Sound Burst.
ACTUAL EFFECT: 2d4 (or 1d6) of every bonus damage type on weapon for 2-3 rounds. (12-18 seconds) |

| Hm, good point Nocturne...
Well it's all the Maker's choice. Allows them to do what they like. ^_^
Better than giving STRICT information... and having them get a headache trying to overcome the bugs. |

| I think it's done fairly simple, your given a widget with the dice-fight rules on it with a spell/ability to match it |

| So you all know, the overdrives in FFX were for only 1 round really and for 1 special move. I am pretty sure we will be basing the system off of that. |

| Do we have a form of sorts to fill out? Could be helpful in making these, and where do we post our reguests for such. |

| I was just wondering here about exactly ''how'' do we get these overdrives? After posting the reguest, is there something of a procedure like Dms talking it over together, and is there anything ic related like the character needs to have personal quest or similiar? |

| I think DM quests are apropiate for overdrives, but it's all up to the player whether if he/she wants to get their overdrive the long way.
For my character, Crxys, I want a DM quest because suddenly having an uber attack needs to be RP-ed out. |

| I'm gonna request MY overdrive be quested out as well...
it IS a devastating attack. It'd be unfair if Ren would've had it all along. |
